As of April, 2014, only USA destinations are served from HobbyAirport.

In 2015, the new International terminal facility is scheduled to open, and service is expected to begin to destinations in Mexico, South America, and the Carribean. The name of the airport is expected to change at that time, to William P. Hobby International Airport.

SouthWest Airlines is by far the largest tenant and air service provider at Houston's Hobby International Airport.  South West Airlines also proposed, and is financing, the construction of Hobby Airport's new International Terminal passenger facility.  SW Airlines will be the prime tenant of the new international terminal facility when it opens in 2015.

Several General Aviation operators also have facilities at Houston Hobby, serving private and corporate aviation interests.
