Hobby Airport (HOU)

Originally opened in 1937,
William P. Hobby Airport is Houston's 2nd busiest airport,
after Bush Intercontinental Airport.
While Hobby Airport has onsite parking operated by the Houston Airport Authority, many fliers park at the more economical private parking lots located nearby. Houston Hobby is located on the South side of Airport Blvd., and takes up all available property on that side of the road.
Most of the airport's private parking facilities, and some auto rental businesses, are located along the North side of Airport Blvd. They all have shuttle buses to transport passengers to & from the airport.
The airport's west-side on-site parking will be disrupted or unavailable for much of 2014, due to construction of a new parking garage to service the new International Terminal at Hobby field.
